Supported connections

Choose a service, authorize the account, and configure what your teammates can use.

Extension-powered workflows

Add marketing, commerce, messaging, content, and developer capabilities as your team needs them.

Your own MCP server

Make compatible external tools available to Office through an open protocol.

Model Context Protocol

Bring the tools that make your business yours.

A compatible MCP server can give Office access to tools beyond the directory below. Connect the server, authorize it, discover its tools, and decide which assistants may use them.

  1. Add the server

Provide your remote MCP endpoint in an MCP-enabled Office setup.

  2. Authorize access

Use the authentication method supported by your server.

  3. Discover the tools

Test the connection and synchronize the tools it exposes.

  4. Choose the access

Make the relevant tools available to your AI teammates under your permissions.

Compatibility and authentication
  • Remote HTTPS MCP servers using Streamable HTTP are supported. Local stdio-only servers cannot be connected directly.
  • Authentication options include OAuth where supported, bearer tokens, custom headers, and no authentication where appropriate.
  • The tools and actions available come from the server and its authorization. Connecting a server does not grant access to every system.
  • Systems available only on a private network need an appropriate connection architecture. Discuss that setup with us before connecting.

A few connection questions.

Can I connect a tool that is not listed?

Yes, through a compatible custom MCP server or a company-specific extension. We first check the endpoint, authentication, available tools, and the workflow you need.

Is every integration included in every Office setup?

No. The directory includes Office connections, extension capabilities, and services requiring custom MCP or integration setup. Provider eligibility, account permissions, and the tools exposed by the server also apply.

Does connecting an account authorize every action?

No. The account scopes, assistant permissions, and configured approval rules still apply. Review those settings for both supported connections and custom MCP tools.

Can we connect internal systems?

A custom extension or appropriately hosted MCP service can support company-specific systems. Private-network connectivity needs a suitable architecture; a local-only endpoint cannot simply be pasted into the remote connector.

Do providers charge separately?

Some providers charge for API requests, messaging, or generation. Review their terms alongside the Office setup and usage required for your workflow.

What do you need to connect?

An ecosystem of 1,000+ MCP servers and custom integrations opens possibilities far beyond this list. Tell us which tools you need—we’ll plan how to connect them to Office.
